Start a Book Club

Hi, I am a senior at the University of Michigan (21M), about to graduate next week. I had made it a goal of mine to read more literature post grad with the free time I will have and was wondering if anyone would be interested in a low-key book club. I'd be happy to meet new people and I wouldn't

Ice Out Button Protest?

Hi lovely (adult) A2 residents! I’m a UMich senior and we have the Big House graduation next Saturday. We hold a lot of power to make a statement at this event. I know that a lot of people are affiliated with the university in some way. Is it typical for students to stay post graduation? Is there general interest from neighboring places like Detroit, Toledo, etc.?

Screens in elementary school?

Hello! We are considering moving from the west side to GP for a few reasons, one of which is the schools. We noticed that supposedly GP is one of the only local districts that doesn't appear to have a 1:1 device policy (aka doesn't give devices to kids) which is appealing to us - we'd prefer a lower

School in A2 with the most resources for ADHD

AAPS is not working for our kid. 4th grade and doesn’t know basics: months of the year, days of the week, etc. Good at math but who cares if they don’t know October comes before November. AAPS is very good at giving screen time at the end of the day though and sending the kids home on a dopamine cr
